Sources within the AMS have disclosed that Blake Frederick is claiming that students are rallying behind him in his quest to find the Governments of Canada and British Columbia guilty of human rights abuses for not lowering or eliminating tuition fees. Though reactions on the blogosphere, and in the comments posted on the websites of conventional media, appear to be universally opposed to the idea of involving the United Nations in the debate on tuition in Canada, Frederick claims that he has received private e-mails from students thanking him for his willingness to protest so loudly, if not effectively.
I would like to encourage all those who have an opinion, no matter what it be, to write to Mr Frederick and other AMS officials and let them know if you support impeachment or not, if you support his resignation or not, or if you think he crossed a line or not. Attending the meeting on Saturday Nov 28, at 5 pm in the Council Chambers on the top floor of the SUB is also recommended.
